echt.job takes nothing – the household pays the service fee. Gross = net applies if you opt out of statutory pension insurance. If you earn pension points instead, 13.6% goes into your pension. You choose in the app.
What do I need to join?
You are at least 18 and a pupil or university student. You need your ID and a bank account. The app asks for your tax ID and social security number later, step by step.
How long does the check take?
You can apply right away. Before a household can accept you, you confirm your ID and bank account once – this takes up to 24 hours.
What if something breaks during a job?
In the event of an accident at work, you are covered by statutory accident insurance – registration runs automatically via the household cheque procedure, and the household pays the contribution. If something accidentally breaks, standard employment law applies: with slight negligence you are generally not liable. Either way, report the incident in the app right away – we help both sides resolve it.
